Raised by Freeman S. Howlett at Ohio Agricultural Experiment Station, Wooster, Ohio, USA. Selected in 1937 and introduced in 1944. Fruits have creamy white, moderately firm, a little coarse-textured, juicy flesh, with a pleasant sweet, subacid, slightly aromatic flavour.
