History: The Orin apple was created sometime before 1920 by Tadanosuke Otuski in Fukushima, Japan. It was commercially released in 1952.

Orin

Triploid. Originated before 1942 by T. Otsuki, an apple grower in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Fruits have firm, juicy flesh with a sweet and aromatic flavour.
